Our “Rendezvous” is an annual motorcycle rally held in July at a conference centre somewhere in Ontario. It brings GWRRA Members from across Canada and the US together to participate in a variety of activities and programs such as motorcycle rider skills and safety education seminars; drill team demonstrations; on-bike games; guided rides; and more. Under EWMA, plans are already under way for Regions and Districts to host similar events. And there is even discussion of Canada hosting an event as soon as 2024!!!!
On July 14 2022 we were finally able to host an event in North Bay Ontario. Attendance was down slightly, approx 150 members, but overall it was a great success even after that dark cloud of closure was cast at us. Special thanks and a round of applause to our North Bay Chapter N. RV2022 certainly would not have been possible without you.
On July 17 2021, as an alternative to the typical rally, a District Rendezvous Ride was organized. Chapters were invited to simultaneously ride in their own regions to visit outdoor historical and cultural landmarks and participate in a photo contest.
In 2020, we took the necessary but deeply disappointing action to cancel the Rendezvous in Kingston due to the pandemic. The health and safety of our Members was our priority.
July 18 – 21 2019, Rendezvous was held at the Niagara College Conference Centre in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It brought together hundreds of GWRRA Members from all over Ontario, southern Quebec, and Maryland and Louisiana!
Prior to that, the event was held in Pembroke and Woodstock.
